Adventure Tails was inspired through many years of working alongside pet professionals whose vast expertise and mentorship has brought us so many insightful pet care lessons, techniques, and ultimately an unwavering commitment to quality pet care for which we have this vast community to thank. Special thanks to the founder of Howliday Inn Boarding- a dog care provider who continues to support adventurous endeavors like this one and most of all we thank our valued clientele who trust their pets in our care and who guide us with their feedback.
Our promise is to keep learning and to always pay it forward. Adventure Tails has a vision to foster the growth of animal caretakers into a local network of dedicated PetPros whose labor of attentive, true-hearted care adheres to industry standards in training, care protocols and procedures. All to ensure consistent, dependable pet care that provides pet wellness and pet parent peace of mind.
Over the years as operators of a traditional dog boarding facility, we have experienced the gamut of needs, behaviors and temperaments in live-animal care. As caretakers we discovered not all needs can be met through offering a one-size fits most care environment. To better serve the unique needs of all situations and circumstances we built a space that encompasses supportive services, pet wellness, and community partnership going beyond the kennel wheelhouse we know and love.
Navigating the everyday challenges of high volume all day, everyday pet care has been an adventure toward developing the well-informed, tried and true knowledge, resources, and confidence to step outside our wheelhouse. We offer premium, customizable services that will supplement and support pet parents while growing local community of committed PetPros, provide them a well deserved living, and be the shepherd of care depend on to help whenever and however necessary on this adventure called life.
Enrichment has become the area of dog care with endless space to explore and try new things was being intentional with our dog enrichment services. While efficient in process, standardized enrichment services should be enriching with every interaction. One way we do this add variation, layered stimulatory objects and experiences, while taking inventory of potential behavior mediation opportunities. Simple, nascent interventions that add something adventurous to every experience- meeting the dog where they are, with a mind on the mission, and enjoying a meaningful dog-focused connection every time. Being vigilant as caretakers and turning up care when need arises is the difference between part time dog-walker versus our DogPro Standard here at Adventure Dogs.
